I.L.I. Training schools are proving to be very beneficial to pastors by enhancing their leadership skills.

A number of seminars were conducted last year in South Africa, Zimbabwe & Mozambique. The following seminars are planned for this year:

June – National Training at Back to the Bible Mission
August – Regional Training in East London
October – Regional Training in Musina

Once or twice in a lifetime, one has the opportunity to encounter God in a life-changing, ministry defining conference. During the last week of February 2016, 40 Zimbabwean pastors had this experience at the International Leadership Institute Conference in Masvingo. During this week of training and encouragement, 8 valuable, life-transforming core values for Christian life and ministry were imparted to pastors who were in turn challenged to implement these core values into their ministries as well as to impart these principles to the fellow pastors, church leadership, and Bible study groups. As results of this conference, hundreds of believers have been discipled, similar conferences have been arranged, churches are being planted and leaders are revived for the work of the ministry. Thank you for each one who earnestly prayed for this conference.  We also want to thank pastors Todd Wright from the Midway Church and Jon Ellis from the Refuge (both in Georgia USA) for their financial contribution, their fellowship and their excellent teaching during this conference!

The Multi Ministries Victory Bible College is a training initiative of Multi Ministries offering a SAQA accredited Certificate in Theology through our partnership with the Baptist Theological Seminary.  The College, situated in Vanderbijlpark, is now in its third year and has already produced two graduates who have both completed their SAQA accredited Certificate in Theology.  We currently have 7 students enrolled who are continuously growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ!

We are excited to also have launched the Portable Seminary Program as part of our passion to equip church leaders. Our first classes started recently and our aim is to have trained 40 leaders in evangelical Christian doctrine, Bible overview, missions, pastoral ministry, and leadership by the end of the year.  For more information please contact Hendrik at

Here are some testimonies from some of the college students –

‘I never used to prepare sermons but I now see the need to feed God’s Word to His people in a way that will glorify Him”  -Jewel McClain

‘God is stretching our minds, and it is so good!’ -Tshepo Masikane

‘I never understood God’s missional heart. Now I am passionate about joining Him in bringing the world to salvation.’ -Mosiuoa Molefi

The Multi Ministries ‘Victory Bible College’ has been established to meet a very real & pressing need.

There are many pastors with incomplete High School education & very low income who do not qualify for tertiary training and the aim of this Bible College is to assist these pastors by developing a Certificate of Theology programme.

The students are registered through the Baptist Theological College in Randburg.

The students are committed to attending all the lectures & submitting a number of assignments each semester.

Although the students are responsible to find a portion of their fees, sponsorship is needed to make up the balance & to cover books & college running costs.

Rev Hendrik Holtzhausen is the principal of the college & together with a team of other qualified pastors they handle the lectures & encourage the pastors & leaders who are attending.

One of the assignments for Missions at VBC requires the students to do a Cross-Cultural Rural Mission Trip. The duration must be at least 5 nights. Our students, except for one, viz. Daniel, Jeff, Jewel, Naomi, Tshepo, and Gladys, had not been out of the country before let alone on a missions trip.

So it was with great excitement that we left S.A. for Swaziland were we set up our base at the Hope Centre.

During the days we visited many homes and did one on one evangelism. I was able to collect 35 food parcels which we delivered to 6 different care points.

On Sunday we preached in 3 different churches with a large number of decisions being made for Jesus. Most evenings we gathered together for debriefing and completing the assignment worksheets.

For me, a pleasing aspect of our mission trip was the fact that to a man/women, they all want to know when I will return to Swaziland so that they can return with me to continue to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I would say that we accomplished our mission for rural exposure and planted the seed of evangelizing according to Acts 1:8.
